RATES FOR LABOUR CHARGES

These changes will make things more transparent and give you greater confidence in the provision of standard maintenance services. We shall continue to strive for clarity in all that we offer and do for you. By this we mean "no hidden charges".

The following refers to rates for labour charges only and do not include any materials, which are charged as listed on your sales invoice.

Commencing 1st January 2006:

ANTIFOUL BOTTOM OF HULL * (one full coat) £18.95 per metre
ANTIFOUL BOOTTOP OF HULL (one full coat) £10.95 per metre
POLISH TOPSIDES OF HULL £15.95 per metre
REPLACE ANODES ** £19.95 each
SERVICE BLAKES TYPE SEACOCKS *** £19.95 each

ENGINE SERVICE INBOARD DIESEL:

(This is a standard service, running up engine & changing oil & oil/fuel filters, belts etc where necessary. A report/defects list is issued afterwards).

Yacht/sailboat engines:

Up to 10HP (e.g. Yanmar 1GM10, Volvo 2001/2002 etc) £126.00 each
Up to 20HP (e.g. Yanmar 2GM10, Volvo 2020 etc) £168.00 each
Up to 30HP (e.g. Yanmar 3GM10, Volvo 2030 etc) £210.00 each
Larger engines price on application

Motor boats - price on application

OTHER CHARGES:

ENGINEERING LABOUR RATE £42.00 per hour
(Fitter/mechanics, electricians & electronics, plumbing)
LPG CORGI GAS ENGINEERING RATE £45.00 per hour

ALL OTHER LABOUR:

STANDARD LABOUR RATE £39.95 per hour

Prices do not include VAT charged at current rate.
We will provide a FREE ESTIMATE for any/all work you are considering.
If you have larger projects in mind it is worth thinking about the late summer period (August to October) where we may be able to offer you a discounted rate.

PRICING NOTES

Please note: charges that are "per metre" refer to the overall length of the boat. Therefore if your boat is 30 feet LOA this equates to 9.15 metres and the charge to antifoul paint the bottom will be 9.15 x £18.95 = £173.39 & materials & VAT.
Wherever possible sales invoices will show unit quantities and the charging rate per unit, whether number of hours, linear metres or units used.
* Antifoul painting of sound surface of hull only. Where bottoms are flaking and require additional preparation the extra work will be charged at the standard hourly rate.
** Replace anodes does not include the replacement of anode bolts (if & when required) nor welded anodes on steel hulls (price on application). Additional work will be charged at the standard hourly rate.
*** Service seacocks does not include replacement of seacocks or skin fittings. Additional work will be charged at the standard hourly rate.

All prices are given in good faith and are correct at time of printing. The Company is not responsible for any errors, omissions or defects whether latent or not. Prices are subject to change from time to time dependant upon prevailing conditions.
