Who’s Who at BHBB
Please take a few moments to see who we are and who will be dealing/helping you on a day-to-day basis, be that for estimates, project status, chandlery, accounts, or to simply find out more about our yard and its services.
Chris Clayton (MD),
Chris always has his finger on the pulse having a relaxed and clear minded approach to the business of the yard. He also has a keen sense of humor fostering and enjoying a team approach with all staff.

Dave Blachford (Director & Project Manager),
Dave is the key contact when it comes to the technical issues relating to work you require and how it should be carried out. He spends a great deal of his time in the yard looking after your interests, so he may be difficult to get hold of at times.

Kris Rickman (Assistant Project Manager),
Kris is responsible for managing all boat movements from lift out to launch, he is jointly responsible with Dave Blachford for the boat management work schedule. Kris is the natural contact for help with general inquiries and estimates when Dave is in and around the yard.

Andrea Poulter (Office Manager),
Andrea runs the office/accounts department and will always know what the status is regarding your account.

Lucy Lock (Receptionist)
Lucy with her charming voice will invariably answer your call and connect you to the correct person, and ensure that you get a response. Lucy is also responsible for all mail and invoice logging for the accounts department.

Geoff MacDonald (Chandlery/Stores),
Whatever you require in terms of spares, liferaft or sail servicing and general chandlery Geoff is the man to contact, he also has a wonderful sense of humour.

Bernie Bull (Boat Building Foreman),
A master craftsman, Bernie oversees and indeed carries out a lot of the renovation, reconstruction and repair of both wood and fibre glass craft.

John Nash "Tacker" (Engineering Foreman),
Tacker is a highly regarded engineer and fabricator, where metal and engines are concerned and is currently passing on his knowledge to his very able team and apprentice.

Ken Chase (Paint Foreman)
If you want to see your face in the topsides then Ken and his team will never cease to amaze, be it glass or wood, the finish will tell its tale.

Tony Marsh (Hoist Foreman)
Tony and his team ensure that each vessel is carefully lifted, washed and chocked away or launched, mast stepped and rigged ready for the off.
